We are seeking researchers at all levels to join!

 

Ph.D. Students 

We are looking for strongly motivated students. Background training in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, chemistry, or a closely related field is preferred. A Master's degree is not required, and you do not need to have past studies in membrane. Both research and industry training are highly valued. We do both experimental and theoretical studies, and you are encouraged to join us with your interests in chemical lab work, handicraft, mathematical derivations, modeling, etc.

Postdoctoral Researchers

We are seeking a postdoc with a background in areas that can complement our research expertise, such as materials chemistry, electrochemical processes, or machine learning. Contact Prof. Chen with your 1) updated C.V., 2) cover letter, 3) 3 representative publications/manuscripts.

M.S. Students

M.S. students looking to do research for academic credit or for M.S. thesis are recommended to email Prof. Chen for in-person discussion. M.S. researchers are expected to attend lab group meetings and journal club discussions.

Undergraduates

CityU undergraduates are welcomed to join the lab for research experience or graduation dissertation. We provide comprehensive research opportunites from literature review lab work, senior researchers will be the mentors first. Email Prof. Chen for in-person discussion.
